The Insider's View

Hear from our team.

Lydia Lacey is a programme manager in our Analytical and Materials Science division.

“In my 19 years here I have progressed in my career substantially. I started as an assistant scientist in animal sports testing and worked my way up to scientist. During that time, the company invested in me by financing and supporting me though a chemistry degree.

I then moved to the AMS team where I have progressed from scientist, through senior scientist, to programme manager. In my time in AMS I have also had two children and the support and flexibly the company offer is vital for me, as I am able to have a great work life balance while my children are young.”

Claire is a bioanalytical scientist in our Bioanalysis division

My name is Claire and I’m a scientist. I work within the small molecule bioanalysis team, where we analyse drug concentrations in biological samples over time.

We work on all aspects of the drug development. So pharmaceutical companies will come to us with their medicine that they want to analyse in biological samples.
